Pupil Premium

The pupil premium is a grant given by the government to schools in England to decrease the attainment gap for the most disadvantaged children, whether this be by income or by family upheaval.

At The Priory School we embrace the pupil premium programme, and constantly review the care of all our disadvantaged or vulnerable students. We follow The Priory Way of wisdom, hope, dignity and community, and help our student’s progress and thrive by pursuing personalised learning, with work that’s exceptionally well differentiated, and then providing quality feedback. We believe high expectations drive success, and that by working together with the student and their family we can help students achieve beyond their expectations.

In 2018/19 The Priory School received Pupil Premium funding of £124,224.36 for 743 students.

18.84% – 140 students at The Priory School are eligible for Pupil Premium funding.
