Priory6 (The Priory School’s sixth form provision) is a fully inclusive sixth form which encourages all students to access Level 3 courses (A level and A level equivalent BTECs) and consists of students with a variety of academic backgrounds. We have students of the highest academic ability as well as having the flexibility to inspire others who may not be permitted to study to this level at other institutions. Currently we are a small body of students which allows everyone to be independently supported through our pastoral system. As we grow, this is an area of Priory6 we will ensure we maintain so that all students feel valued and are supported to achieve to the highest levels both academically and socially.
Our 2019 and 2020 student cohorts achieved outstanding results with the majority of students achieving in line or above their expected grades. Students go on to a wide range of destinations including Russell Group Universities, apprenticeships and employment both locally and further afield. We are incredibly proud that one of our 2020 Head Students was awarded a place to study at Cambridge this year. Our Oftsed inspection in March 2019 confirmed that our sixth form provision is good and the inspectors praised the quality of the teaching, the programme of subjects and the extra-curricular activities that we offer.
Below is our current Priory6 prospectus. In it you will find the majority of information you need about our sixth form provision including details of the courses we offer, our support and enrichment programme, profiles of current students and how to make an application. The prospectus is currently being updated for September 2021 entry and this will be available soon.
Due to the current situation we will be running a mixture of live recruitment events (for our current Year 11 students) and online virtual events for parents and external students. These will go live on our website in late October.
